Our verdict
Aruba suits small Italian businesses that want hosting, domains and a site builder in a single account, with every Linux plan bundling free SSL, backups, a CDN and email. Prices are in euros and renewal is the catch, since fees run €34.99 to €79.99 after the first term.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Every hosting plan bundles free SSL, backups, a CDN and email: free ssl, backups and cdn.
- Servers in Milan, Italy, Arezzo, Italy and Rome, Italy, close to Italian visitors.
- Free trial of 30 days on the e-commerce builder, with a transaction fee of 0%.
- Entry price of €9.90 for the first term on shared and cloud hosting.
Cons
- Renewal fees of €34.99 to €79.99 are the real cost, well above the entry price of €9.90.
- Free plan: no, so the site builder has no free tier.
- Support runs on phone, email and help centre, with no live chat or community forum in the list.
Who it suits
- Small Italian businesses and beginners, matching the beginners, small business and enterprise audience.
- Shop owners who want sites and stores from the same builder: site and store.
- Customers who prefer direct contact, with phone, email and help centre offered.
Who should look elsewhere
- Buyers who want a free entry point, since Render lists an intro price of $0.
- Shoppers priced in another currency, since Afrihost quotes ZAR 84.
Where it sits among rivals
On price, Aruba sits near the back of the field. Its intro price ranks 236 of 282 compared brands, while its renewal price ranks 172 of 179. The renewal ranking sits higher than the entry ranking, so the second year is the kinder of the two numbers.
Who runs it
Aruba is run by Aruba S.p.A., a company headquartered in Italy and founded in 1994, so it has been in the hosting business for decades rather than being a recent entrant. Support runs through phone, email and help centre, with a help centre for self-service questions and direct contact when a site goes down.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Aruba cost to get started?+
The entry price is €9.90 for the first term, and hosting plans bundle free SSL, backups, a CDN and email: free ssl, backups and cdn. Renewal is where the figure moves, so the entry price is not the number to plan a second year around.
What does Aruba cost after the first term?+
Renewal fees run €34.99 to €79.99 depending on the plan, against an entry price of €9.90. On cost, Aruba scores 2.1 out of ten, and its renewal price ranks 172 of 179.
Is there a free plan or a free trial?+
Free plan: no, so the site builder has no costless tier. The e-commerce side does offer a free trial of 30 days, and its transaction fee is 0%, so selling does not add a per-sale charge.
Which kinds of hosting does Aruba sell?+
The range covers shared hosting, Linux hosting and Windows hosting, so Linux, Windows, cloud and VPS plans sit alongside CMS-specific options and the website builder. The stated fit runs from beginners to enterprise: beginners, small business and enterprise.
How does Aruba support customers?+
Support runs on phone, email and help centre, meaning phone, email and a help centre rather than live chat. The Linux hosting line also ships free SSL, backups, a CDN and email as standard: free ssl, backups and cdn.
Where are Aruba's servers located?+
Data centres are listed at Milan, Italy, Arezzo, Italy and Rome, Italy. Several sit in Italy and the rest spread across central and western Europe, which keeps response times short for Italian visitors and most European traffic.
How many websites can one plan host?+
Websites allowed works out at a single domain per hosting plan, with a limited number of promotional domains added over the year. The builder covers both sites and stores: site and store.
