Cloud86 review

Hosting runs from €3.95, and that is also the figure you pay when the plan renews at €3.95. Paying upfront for 36 months brings the entry cost down to €1.95, which is the number most comparisons quote first.

The introductory rate of €1.95 is tied to a 36 month term, and renewals then run at €3.95. Plan your budget around the renewal figure rather than the headline number, and note the money-back period of 30 days if you may leave early.

The free plan is listed as no, so the AI website builder is not free to use. Hosting starts at €3.95, and the builder covers site and store projects with from 1,000 templates to choose from.

Data centres are listed in Groningen and Netherlands, and the provider is registered in the Netherlands as Cloud86 B.V.. If your visitors sit far from that region, the distance adds to response times, so a host with a wider network may suit you better.

Hosting capacity is fixed per plan: 2-10 websites per plan (Start 2, Medium 5, Power 10). If you need more properties than the largest plan covers, you will have to look at a different provider, so it is worth checking the plan list before you commit.

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so chat, phone, email and a help centre are all listed, and the hosting carries an uptime guarantee of 99.98%. For a site where downtime costs sales, both points matter.

There is a money-back period of 30 days on the hosting, the same window most providers in this category offer. That gives you room to migrate a site elsewhere if the plans do not fit your project.

Managed WooCommerce hosting starts at €20.95, and the AI website builder also handles site and store projects. Business email and domains are sold alongside, so a small shop can keep its site, mailbox and address with a single provider.
