Dominio.com.py review

A .com registration costs PYG 95,000 in its opening year, and renewal is PYG 95,000. Bringing a .com you already own costs PYG 95,000 to transfer, so a move in is priced much like a new registration.

Hosting plans are listed at PYG 38,000 with an introductory term of 12, and the same plans renew at PYG 38,000. Because the two figures match, the entry price is the ongoing price rather than a teaser rate that climbs later.

The range covers shared hosting, reseller hosting and cloud hosting. Shared hosting handles a business site, cloud hosting and VPS sit above it for busier workloads, dedicated servers go further, and reseller hosting is there for people selling hosting to other customers.

Shared accounts take unlimited parked domains and subdomains. VPS plans carry a WHM or cPanel licence that covers a limited number of domains, and that count can be expanded as the account grows.

Builder plans start at PYG 45,000, and the store plan is priced at PYG 70,000. Store transactions carry no added fee, listed as 0%, so extra sales do not come with a per-order charge attached.

Help runs through email, chat and phone, so you can use email, chat or phone, or work through the help centre at your own pace. Phone and chat suit anything time sensitive, such as an outage during trading hours.

The company is based in Paraguay, and the legal entity behind it is SETIK Technology S.A.. Prices are quoted in guaraní, which suits local buyers and means anyone paying in another currency has to convert at the prevailing rate.

The stated commitment is 99.9%. That figure is what the hosting plans publish, so it is worth weighing against a shop that cannot trade through downtime on a busy day.
