Pros and cons
Pros
- Renewal holds at €3.49 against an entry of €2.88, so the second year is not a step up.
- A 30 day money-back window, the same length as 30 typically seen here.
- Bundled toolkit: free ssl, backups and cdn on shared hosting, plus 30 domain extensions and a builder with 200 templates.
- Support covers email, phone and help centre, with phone help alongside email.
Cons
- The builder has no free plan, so €3.49 is the starting point for a site and €6.99 for a store.
- Support runs on email, phone and help centre only, with chat not listed among the channels.
- Servers sit in Latvia, so visitors further away sit further from the machines.
Who it suits
- Small businesses in Latvia and nearby markets that want hosting, domains and a builder from a single provider.
- Beginners who want a 30 day window before they commit.
- Owners building a site, store and landing project, from a simple site to a store.
Who should look elsewhere
- Developers who want a free hosting start: Render's intro price is $0, a better first step for a trial.
- Readers who price in another currency: Afrihost's intro price is ZAR 84, which does not read like the euro figures here.
- Audiences far from the region, since servers run from Latvia; Hosting.cl, at CLP 159,900, is worth checking for another market.
What you get free
The hosting side has no free plan, so the entry price is the starting point for a site. What you do get is a 30 day money-back period, long enough to judge load speed and support replies before a plan is locked in.
Core features
The range covers shared web hosting, cloud VPS (LXC) and high performance cloud VDS (KVM), so a small site and a dedicated box can sit with the same provider. Each plan allows a small number of domains, and the standard toolkit includes free ssl, backups and cdn. Servers sit in Latvia.

Frequently asked questions
What does shared hosting cost at entry and at renewal?+
Shared hosting opens at €2.88 and renews at €3.49. The gap between the two is small, and FirstHost.lv sits at 46 on renewal price among the brands compared, so the second year is not a shock.
How long is the money-back window?+
The hosting plans carry a 30 day money-back period, which is the same as 30 across the wider group. That gives room to move a site over, check speed and try the support channels before settling.
Is there a free plan?+
The free plan is not offered, so the builder starts at €3.49 and the store tier at €6.99. The closest thing to a free option is the free trial, which lets you look at the builder before committing to a plan.
What kinds of hosting are on offer?+
The list covers shared web hosting, cloud VPS (LXC) and high performance cloud VDS (KVM), so a small site and a dedicated box can sit with the same provider. Each plan allows a small number of domains, so multiple properties are covered without moving host.
Where do the servers run?+
Servers run from Latvia, and the company is registered in Latvia as SIA First Cloud. Uptime is committed at 99.9% in the agreement. That suits Baltic and nearby audiences more closely than distant ones.
What comes with the plans?+
Every plan carries free ssl, backups and cdn. The website builder offers site, store and landing projects and 200 templates, with a store plan at €6.99. Email and backups come with the hosting, so a domain, mailbox and site share one dashboard.
What do domains cost?+
A .com registration is €19.49 in the first year, renews at €19.49 and transfers in at €19.49, so there is no entry-to-renewal jump here. There are 30 extensions on the list to pick from.
How do you reach support?+
Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so phone and email sit alongside a help centre. Chat is not among the listed channels, which matters for quick troubleshooting outside office hours.
