Helhost review

Shared web hosting starts at $1.75 for the first 12 months. That sits below €2.99, the middle of the web hosting prices on the site, so the opening term is one of the cheaper ones. The low rate applies to that first term, so set a reminder before it rolls over.

Yes, Helhost lists a free plan, and paid website builder plans start at $8.99. The e-commerce plan sits at the same $8.99, so moving from a plain site to a store does not cut the entry price. Sales on that plan then carry a transaction fee of 0% to 3%.

The money back period is 30 days, the same window as 30 for most hosting on the site. That gives you time to load your content, point the domain and check mail before deciding to keep the plan.

The range covers shared web, cms and windows. Shared plans suit a single site, CMS and WordPress hosting suit managed setups, and VPS hosting allows Unlimited websites on a plan. Reseller and email hosting let you sell hosting or run mail under your own name.

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so a question can go out by email, arrive in live chat, or reach someone by phone. A help centre covers the questions you can answer yourself, which keeps the basics off the queue.

The website builder is built for site and store projects, covering a standard site and a store. The store plan costs $8.99, and each sale adds a transaction fee of 0% to 3%. Site medians for that plan sit higher at €14.

Free WHOIS privacy is included with domain registration, so contact details stay off the public record at no extra cost. The list covers 480 top level domains, enough for common project names and country variants without hunting around a second registrar.

Helhost lists beginners and small business as its audience, so the plans are shaped for people putting up a first site and for small businesses. The company was founded in 2020, is based in Democratic Republic of the Congo, and support arrives through email, chat and phone.
