HostArmada review

Entry shared hosting is priced from $29.95, with introductory deals at $1.99 billed over a 36 month term. Once that term ends, renewals run $9.95. Comparing both figures before paying makes the long-term cost easier to judge.

HostArmada has no free plan, so nothing can be tried before paying. The cheapest way in is a paid shared package at $29.95, and the money-back period of 45 days covers the hesitation a free trial would.

Purchases carry a money-back period of 45 days, longer than the 30 day window typical of the category. The terms sit in a cancellation and refunds agreement published alongside the terms of service.

The listed hosting types are shared hosting, wordpress hosting and woocommerce hosting, which spans shared plans through to VPS, cloud servers, reseller, agency, developer and Magento hosting. Someone unsure which tier fits can move up within the same provider rather than migrate.

Data centres are listed at San Francisco, US, Dallas, US and Newark, US. The spread covers North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, so a site or store can sit near its audience rather than in a single region, which helps keep latency low for visitors far from the origin.

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so phone and live chat sit alongside email and a self-serve help centre. That mix suits the beginners and small business audience, where a new site often needs a person as much as documentation.

Plan limits differ: 1 on Start Dock, unlimited on Web Warp and Speed Reaper. A starter package therefore covers a single site, while the higher shared tiers lift that cap for a portfolio or an agency list of client sites, and the reseller and agency types in shared hosting, wordpress hosting and woocommerce hosting suit teams running several properties at once.

Uptime is guaranteed at 99.9%, and the money-back period of 45 days sits alongside it as a second commitment. Neither figure changes the entry arithmetic, so weigh $29.95 against renewal costs before settling.
