Pros and cons
Pros
- Shared, reseller, cloud VPS and managed CMS hosting all sit in shared web hosting (Standard, Apache/SSD), shared web hosting (Premium, LiteSpeed/NVMe) and reseller web hosting (WHM), with domain registration in the same account.
- A .com costs €9.99 in the first year, under the site median of €11.61.
- The site builder has a free plan, so a first presence can start without buying hosting.
- Backups, email, free SSL, staging and CDN are all listed in free ssl, backups and staging.
Cons
- The Bucharest, Romania (GTS data center) list names a single facility, so readers outside Romania see just that location.
- Renewal fees run €2.99 to €24.99 against entry of €1.99 to €15.99, so the cheap opening rate is not the ongoing one.
- Websites are limited on the Start plan, with unlimited sites only on Business, Enterprise and Reseller plans.
Who it suits
- Romanian small businesses priced in euro who want hosting and domains from a single supplier
- Beginners who would rather start on the free plan than buy hosting first
- Resellers and automation users who need reseller, cloud VPS or workflow hosting in the same catalogue
Who should look elsewhere
- Buyers outside Romania who want a different currency quote, since Render lists $0 and Afrihost lists ZAR 84
- Anyone who wants a peso based supplier, since Hosting.cl quotes CLP 159,900
Where it sits among rivals
On intro price, Hostico.me ranks 84 of 282, so the opening figure sits in the middle of the field rather than at the front. Renewal price is the stronger showing, at 37 of 179. The money back window lands at 35 of 275.
Plans and pricing
Hostico.me separates the opening rate from the ongoing rate. Entry prices run €1.99 to €15.99 across shared, reseller and VPS plans, while renewal fees run €2.99 to €24.99. The gap between the bands is what matters for anyone staying past the first term, and the Standard and Premium shared plans sit inside both.

Frequently asked questions
What does Hostico.me cost to start?+
Shared hosting begins at €1.99, and a .com costs €9.99 in the first year through the same account. Paid ecommerce tooling starts at €4.99, while the site builder has a free plan for a simple presence.
What does hosting cost at renewal?+
Renewal fees run €2.99 to €24.99, which is a separate figure from the €1.99 to €15.99 entry range. The gap is normal for introductory hosting deals, so budget on the renewal number rather than the first term. Check both figures before you commit.
Who runs Hostico.me?+
The legal entity is S.C. Awesome Projects S.R.L., headquartered in Romania and founded in 2000. The audience it lists is beginners, small business and enterprise, so contracts sit with a named company rather than a trading name.
How long is the money back window?+
The money back period is 30 days, matching the typical window for shared hosting. That gives room to check speed, support replies and email delivery on a real site before the first renewal lands.
Where are the servers?+
The data centre list names Bucharest, Romania (GTS data center). Sites are served from that Romanian facility, so buyers further away should test latency from their own location before settling on a plan.
What support can I reach?+
Support runs on chat, email and phone, so a person is reachable by chat, email or phone, with a help centre for self service questions. Phone access helps most when a site goes down at a bad moment.
Can I host more than one site?+
Websites are limited on the Start plan, with unlimited sites on the Business, Enterprise and Reseller plans. Reseller hosting is part of shared web hosting (Standard, Apache/SSD), shared web hosting (Premium, LiteSpeed/NVMe) and reseller web hosting (WHM) for agencies that need many customer sites, and cloud VPS covers heavier workloads.
Does the site builder cost anything?+
The site builder has a free plan, and 535 templates are available for a site build. Paid ecommerce tooling starts at €4.99 if a store is needed rather than a brochure site, and hosting and domains can be added in the same account.
What uptime is promised?+
The uptime guarantee is 99.9%, and the company has traded since 2000. Read the guarantee wording carefully before relying on it for a busy shop that needs steady pages, and check what the 30 day window lets you test.
