Pros and cons
Pros
- Hosting, email and the site or store builder come from one provider, with free SSL, backups and email included in the plans
- Support runs on phone, email and help centre, so phone, email and a help centre are all covered
- A free trial of 30 days plus a money-back period of 30 days gives room to change your mind
- Hosting types span shared hosting, managed server and WordPress hosting, so shared, managed server, WordPress and builder routes sit in one account
Cons
- Intro fees of CHF 15.90 and renewal fees of CHF 15.90 are both well above the web hosting medians of €2.95 and €6.14
- There is no free plan, so the cheapest way in is a paid builder plan at CHF 9
- Renovals hold at CHF 15.90, so nothing comes off the price after the first term
Who it suits
- Small businesses in Switzerland that want hosting and business email from one provider
- Beginners who prefer a site or store builder (site and store) over building a site by hand
- Shop owners who need hosting and a store setup under a single account
Who should look elsewhere
- Price-first buyers, since entry fees sit above the web hosting median of €2.95
- Anyone wanting a free tier to test on, as there is no free plan
- Teams outside Switzerland priced in other currencies, compared here against CLP 159,900 and ZAR 84
What you get free
