Pros and cons
Pros
- Entry shared hosting starts at €3.95, near the €2.99 median across web hosting.
- Hosting types span shared hosting, wordpress hosting and cloud hosting under one roof, so you can grow without changing provider.
- Plans include free ssl, backups and email, with servers in Ukraine, Poland and Netherlands and an uptime guarantee of 99%.
- Support reaches you through phone, email and chat, including a help centre for self service.
Cons
- The entry shared plan allows 2 websites, so a portfolio of many properties outgrows it quickly.
- There is no free plan, and the free trial runs 5 to 7, shorter than the 14 common in this category.
- The entry price of €3.95 is booked for an initial term of 36 months, so you commit for a long stretch.
Who it suits
- Small businesses, the most common audience in the web hosting ranking at 94.1%.
- Beginners who want to look around on a free trial of 5 days to 7 before paying anything.
- Shop owners who want a site and a store from the same builder, since site and store are both covered.
Who should look elsewhere
- Not for readers who want to start on a free plan: HostPro has no free plan, while Render's entry price is $0.
- Not for anyone billing in rand: HostPro quotes in euros, and Afrihost's intro price is ZAR 84 for a local comparison.
- Not for a network of many sites: the entry plan allows 2 websites, so extra properties push you to a larger plan.

Frequently asked questions
How much does HostPro cost to start?+
Entry shared hosting starts at €3.95 on an initial term of 36 months. That opening figure sits a little above the €2.99 median across web hosting here, so the headline price is competitive rather than a standout bargain.
Can I try HostPro before paying anything?+
Yes. HostPro offers a free trial of 5 days to 7 and has no free plan, so the trial is the only route in without paying. It is shorter than the 14 most web hosts in this ranking offer.
What if I change my mind after paying?+
The money back period is 30, which matches the 30 common across web hosting in this ranking. That places HostPro at position 35 on this measure, ahead of plenty of hosts with shorter windows.
What kinds of hosting can I buy from HostPro?+
Hosting covers shared hosting, wordpress hosting and cloud hosting. You can begin on shared hosting, add WordPress hosting, then step up to VPS or dedicated servers as traffic grows, and reseller hosting is there for agencies reselling space to others.
Does a HostPro plan include SSL, backups and email?+
Shared plans include free ssl, backups and email as part of the plan rather than as paid add ons, so an SSL certificate, backups and email are already there. An uptime guarantee of 99% applies alongside them.
How do I get help from HostPro?+
You can reach HostPro through phone, email and chat, so phone, email, live chat and a help centre are all listed. Phone support appears in 83.3% of the web hosts compared here.
Can I build a shop as well as a site?+
The site builder covers site and store, so you can launch a plain site or an online store from one tool. Builder plans start at €6.95 and the store plan is €9.95, which is below the €8.99 typical here.
Where are HostPro servers located?+
Data centres sit in Ukraine, Poland and Netherlands. HostPro is headquartered in Ukraine and trades as LLC HOSTPRO LAB, and the company has been operating since up to 2,000, so it is an established provider rather than a new entrant.
How many websites can I run on one plan?+
The entry shared plan allows 2 websites, which fits a single business site with a spare slot. If you run more properties, you move to a larger plan or split them across separate orders.
