Pros and cons
Pros
- Web hosting starts at €1.95 for a first term of 3 to 12
- Renewal pricing is set out at €6.50, so the ongoing cost is visible before you sign up
- Support runs on email, chat and phone, including phone and chat
- Hosting covers web hosting (webhotelli), WordPress hosting and reseller hosting (tukkuhotelli), plus Finland data centres
Cons
- The 14 money-back period is well short of the field
- Renewal at €6.50 sits above the entry price, so a second year costs more
- Each plan allows 1 website per web hosting plan
Who it suits
- Small businesses that want web hosting and a site builder from the same Finnish provider
- Beginners who want email, SSL and backups included without add-ons
- Resellers and application hosts that need more than a single site
Who should look elsewhere
- Shoppers who want the longest money-back window in the field
- Anyone needing hosting outside Finland
- Buyers who need more than 1 website per web hosting plan on a single plan
How it compares on our data
Louhi ranks 77 of 282 on intro price and 96 of 179 on renewal price, so the entry figure reads cheap while the renewal figure sits mid-table. On the money-back period it ranks 226 of 275, close to the back of the field. Read the two price positions together rather than the intro one alone.
Intro and renewal prices
Louhi web hosting opens at €1.95 and renews at €6.50. The introductory term runs 3 to 12, so the first price is tied to a fixed period rather than a permanent rate. The gap between the two figures is the part to budget for: the first term is discounted and later terms cost more.

Frequently asked questions
What does Louhi web hosting cost at the start?+
Louhi web hosting starts at €1.95 for a first term of 3 to 12. That price covers the introductory period only. The same plan costs €6.50 once the term ends, so budget on the renewal figure for later years.
How much does Louhi cost when the plan renews?+
Renewal is listed at €6.50, which is higher than the €1.95 entry price. Louhi publishes both figures, so the ongoing cost is visible before you sign up. Later terms are not quoted at the promotional rate, so plan for the higher figure.
Can I get my money back if Louhi is not for me?+
Louhi offers a money-back period of 14 days. That is short against the wider field, where longer windows are common. Louhi ranks 226 of 275 on this measure, so trial the plan carefully before the window closes.
What kinds of hosting does Louhi sell?+
Louhi lists web hosting (webhotelli), WordPress hosting and reseller hosting (tukkuhotelli) under beginners, small business and enterprise targeting. Coverage includes WordPress hosting, reseller hosting and application hosting alongside standard web hosting, so you can move between plan types without leaving the provider.
How many websites can I host on one Louhi plan?+
Louhi allows 1 website per web hosting plan. If you need several sites at once, budget for extra plans or look at the reseller hosting line. This limit applies to the web hosting plans rather than to the whole range.
How do I get help from Louhi?+
Support is available on email, chat and phone, so you can reach the team by phone, chat, email or the help centre. Phone and chat cover the urgent cases, while the help centre handles routine questions without a ticket.
Does Louhi include a website builder?+
Louhi runs a site and store builder with a free plan, alongside 140 templates. The commerce plan is priced at €10.90. The builder and the hosting sit with the same provider, so one bill covers both.
Which data centres does Louhi use?+
Louhi lists Finland for its data centres and is run by Louhi Net Oy in Finland. Servers in Finland suit visitors in the Nordic region. Site availability is backed by an uptime guarantee of 99.95%.
