Our verdict

Nominalia suits small businesses looking for domain registration and a broader set of web services, especially when the first-year price is the main draw. Its .com first-year price is €1, but the .com renewal price is €58.90, so check the longer-term cost before treating the introductory offer as the full picture.

Who it suits

  • Small businesses comparing domain registration and hosting, with introductory and renewal costs both in view: small business.
  • Businesses seeking a wide TLD selection, with from 700 listed domain extensions.
  • Website owners who want shared, WordPress, VPS, or dedicated hosting options: shared, wordpress and VPS.

Who should look elsewhere

  • If you need a .com quote denominated in DOP, Dominios.com.do lists its first-year price in that currency: DOP 600.
  • If you need a .com quote denominated in IDR, Exabytes Indonesia lists its first-year price in that currency: IDR 109,000.

What happens at renewal

Nominalia separates an introductory hosting offer from its renewal pricing. Nominalia web hosting introductory fees are €2.50 to €7.09, while Nominalia web hosting renewal fees are €10 to €28.35; the introductory term is 12. For domain buyers, Nominalia .com registration for the first year costs €1, and Nominalia .com renewal costs €58.90. The domain offer is notably low at entry, but renewal is the figure to consider for ongoing ownership. Hosting shoppers should likewise assess the renewal range rather than treating the introductory price as the continuing rate.

What you get free

Free plan: no. Nominalia instead offers a free trial of 30 days for its website builder. That gives you a limited period to try the builder, but it is different from a permanently available free plan. After the trial, Nominalia's website-builder starting price is €6.67. If you are comparing services on ongoing free access, the absence of a free plan matters; if you want time to evaluate the builder before paying, the trial is the relevant offer.

Core features

Free WHOIS privacy: no. Domain buyers who want privacy included without an additional cost should factor that into their choice. Nominalia lists from 700 TLDs, giving small businesses a broad selection of domain extensions. Its broader hosting offer lists free SSL, backups, staging, and email: free SSL, backups and staging. These inclusions apply to the hosting feature list, while the WHOIS privacy label concerns domain registration, so they should not be treated as interchangeable features.

How it compares on our data

On .com first-year pricing, Nominalia ranks 9 among 114 brands. Its .com renewal ranks 81 among 81 brands, while the transfer price ranks 18 among 69 brands. The pattern points to a strong entry-price position and a less competitive renewal position. For a domain you expect to keep, compare all three measures rather than relying on the first-year ranking alone.

Intro and renewal prices

Nominalia .com first-year registration costs €1; Nominalia .com renewal costs €58.90; and Nominalia .com transfer costs €9.90. These prices describe distinct parts of domain ownership: initial registration, renewal, and transfer. The low first-year price may appeal to a small business securing a new address, while the renewal figure deserves particular attention for long-term budgeting. Compare the relevant price for your situation instead of assuming the introductory registration price applies to later years.

The company behind it

Nominalia's legal entity is NOMINALIA INTERNET S.L.U., and its headquarters country is ES. The company was founded in 1997. Its listed support channels are email, chat, phone, and help center: email, chat and phone. That combination gives small businesses a named company and several routes to request help. The company details can also help you distinguish the provider from alternatives, while the available support channels offer options beyond email alone.
