Frequently asked questions
What does the cheapest web hosting plan cost?+
The entry web hosting plan is NGN 1,000 for a 36 month term, and the renewal price is the same at NGN 1,000. That flat rate is the main draw, since renewal does not climb. Plans cover shared web hosting, WordPress hosting and VPS hosting, so the same provider also takes WordPress, VPS, reseller, Windows, dedicated and business email work.
Is there a free plan on the website builder?+
The free plan is no. The builder charges NGN 1,700 at the entry level, with a free trial of 30 days to test it. That trial is longer than the site median of 14 days, so you have room to build a site or a store before paying.
How much does a .com domain cost?+
A .com costs NGN 10,000 in the first year, NGN 20,000 on renewal and NGN 15,454 to transfer in. The renewal figure sits above the site median of €14.94, so the second year is where the budget needs room.
What can I host on a Truehost Cloud NG plan?+
Hosting types listed include shared web hosting, WordPress hosting and VPS hosting, so the range runs from shared web hosting to managed cloud, Windows, reseller, dedicated and business email hosting. The number of sites per plan is set by 1-30 websites, unlimited on Unlimited plan, and the site builder produces site and store projects.
Which regions host the servers?+
Data centres are listed in Europe and USA, and the company is headquartered in Nigeria. The uptime guarantee in the terms of service is 99.95%, so you can check the target region for your audience before you buy. Support runs on email, chat and phone.
What is included with hosting plans?+
Free SSL, backups, staging and email are listed as included features, so they come as standard rather than paid add-ons. Support runs on email, chat and phone, which is a wider set than a single channel.
Can I build a shop and what does it cost?+
The builder covers site and store types, and the e-commerce plan is priced at NGN 14,999. Site and store projects are both covered, so one builder handles a brochure site and an online shop. The store plan price is the figure to weigh against the site median of €14.
Is there a money back period?+
The money back period is 30 days. That matches the site median of 30 days, though the longest period on the site runs to 180 days. On hosting, a refund window gives you time to test the plan before the first renewal.
