Frequently asked questions
What does Truehost PH cost to start with?+
Shared hosting starts at PHP 90 on an introductory term of 36. The site builder starts at PHP 52.35, and the online shop plan is PHP 149.95. So the entry figure is small, but it belongs to the first period only.
What happens to the price at renewal?+
Hosting renews at PHP 210, which is higher than the PHP 90 you pay at the start. Budget for the renewal figure rather than the entry figure, since that is the rate that keeps the site live. The same pattern applies to domains, where a .com renews at PHP 690.
Is there a free plan or trial?+
A free plan is offered, and the site builder carries a free trial of 30 days. The free plan is the listed model for the builder, so you can put a site together before committing. Paid hosting begins at PHP 90.
What hosting types can I pick?+
The list in shared web hosting (cPanel/LiteSpeed), VPS and cloud VPS covers shared web hosting on cPanel and LiteSpeed, VPS, cloud VPS, dedicated servers, reseller hosting, managed VPS, Windows hosting and email hosting. Domain counts on shared hosting: Unlimited domains on Pro and Platinum plans. That range covers a single small site through to reselling space for others.
What is included with the hosting?+
Included features listed are free SSL, backups, staging and email hosting. Free SSL and backups are standard across this comparison, while staging sits in a smaller minority of hosts. Support runs through email, chat and phone.
How reliable is the service?+
The terms set an uptime guarantee of 99.95%, and the company has operated since 2014 under Truehost Cloud Limited. Sites run in data centres in Europe and USA. The guarantee is written into the terms rather than left to a service-level claim.
How do I get support?+
Support runs through email, chat and phone, so email, chat, phone and a help centre are all available. That mix covers quick questions and deeper troubleshooting. Phone and chat sit alongside the help centre for self-service.
What does it cost to sell online?+
The online shop builder covers sites, stores and landing pages. The e-commerce plan is PHP 149.95 and the transaction fee is 0%, so nothing extra is taken on each sale at checkout.
Where is the company based and where are the servers?+
The headquarters are listed as US, and the data centres are in Europe and USA. Servers sit in Europe and USA, which matters for visitors in Asia who want shorter round trips. Domain registration covers 502 extensions, with a .com at PHP 500 in the first year.
