What is Local compliance?
In short
Local compliance covers the e-invoicing and network rules a business in a given country must meet in its accounting software.
Local compliance means the accounting features a business needs to satisfy the tax and reporting rules of its own country, such as electronic invoicing and connected e-invoice networks. It is a practical requirement rather than an extra: a provider without it forces you to issue documents outside the system or by hand. Support is uneven across markets. Accountable lists both peppol and e invoicing, covering Peppol and e-invoicing, while Accqrate lists e invoicing alone. If you sell across borders, check the rules for every market you invoice in, not just the one you are based in.
