What is MGA?

MGA is the ISO code for the Malagasy ariary, the currency of Madagascar, and local providers quote their prices in it. Because it is not a widely traded currency, quotes can carry a large number and still represent modest spending, so the currency code matters as much as the figure. For hosting, hebergement.MG lists an introductory price of MGA 19,900 on its web and email plan, against MGA 29,520 for Madagascar Internet. For domains, hebergement.MG prices the first year at MGA 59,000. Check whether a quote is per year and what renewals look like.
