What is Registered agent?
In short
A registered agent is the official contact point that keeps a company on the public record in its home jurisdiction, and some formation packages include it.
A registered agent is the named address and contact a company keeps on file with the state or country's company registry, and someone has to accept legal notices there. The service keeps running after the company is formed, so packages handle it differently. Active Filings includes it for the first year, then charges free for the first year, then $99 a year. Air Corporate includes it in offshore packages, and Armenia Center includes a legal address with the registration. Agio Digital includes a registered agent and office at Manx Corporate Centre, while BAP International folds a nominee shareholder service into its annual representation fee. Read the renewal terms, not just the signup offer.
