Frequently asked questions
What does Beget cost for virtual hosting?+
Virtual hosting starts at RUB 420 a month. A free trial is available, so you can look over the plan before you pay. The included free SSL, backups, CDN and email come as part of the package.
How many websites can I host?+
A virtual hosting plan allows 5-35 websites. If you need more capacity, Beget also offers shared hosting, VIP hosting and 1C Bitrix hosting. The higher tiers suit busier sites.
What hosting types does Beget offer?+
Beget covers a wide spread: shared hosting, VIP hosting and 1C Bitrix hosting. That means you can stay with one provider for hosting, containers and object storage, rather than moving each service elsewhere.
Is there a money back period?+
Yes. Beget offers 30 days of money back, which is the same figure most providers in the comparison show, at 30. That gives room to test a plan properly.
What domains does Beget sell?+
A .com domain costs €16 for the first year and €19 on renewal. Beget lists from 500 top level domains, and domain registration is part of the shared hosting, VIP hosting and 1C Bitrix hosting.
Where are the servers located?+
Data centres run in Saint Petersburg (ru1), Moscow (ru2) and Astana (kz1). Beget is registered in Russia and operating as a Russian limited liability company, so this is a provider built for that market.
How does Beget support customers?+
You get email, phone and chat. That mix means help centre articles for self service, plus email, phone and live chat for anything more involved.
What uptime does Beget promise?+
The stated uptime guarantee is 99.98%. Backups are included, which helps if you need to restore a site after an incident.
