EasyTech Africa review

The Linux shared plan opens at €10 for a 1 term, with free ssl, backups and email included in that plan. A 30 money-back period covers the decision, and the hosting range continues into VPS and dedicated servers for larger sites.

The range covers shared hosting (cloud Linux web hosting), vps (OpenVZ, KVM) and semi dedicated servers, so a site can start on shared cloud Linux hosting and move up later without changing provider. Shared plans hold 1-10 sites, while the server options suit projects that need dedicated resources.

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so you can open a help centre article, start a chat, call or send email depending on the issue. Chat and phone sit alongside email, and the 30 money-back period gives room to raise problems before the term ends.

Data centres are listed in Chicago (US), Coventry (UK) and Sydney (AU), which spreads servers across several continents. The brand is operated by LiquidNet US LLC, registered in Gabon, and it publishes a 99.9% uptime guarantee as its service commitment.

Access is a free trial, so you can try the service before paying, but there is no permanent free plan to keep hosting on. Paid plans start at €10 on a 1 term, with 30 to change your mind afterwards.

A .com domain runs €12.91 in the first year, and it can sit in the same account as the hosting plan. The shared plan already bundles free ssl, backups and email, so email and certificates are covered on day one rather than sold as extras.

The stated audience is beginners and small business, so small sites and people new to hosting are the intended customers. The shared plan limit of 1-10 sites fits a small portfolio of sites rather than a large network, and the Chicago (US), Coventry (UK) and Sydney (AU) spread covers common visitor regions.

Entry at €10 sits above the €2.99 median for compared hosting brands, and the brand ranks 240 on entry price. Afrihost lists shared hosting at ZAR 84 and Render starts from $0, so a lower opening figure is available elsewhere.
