What it does well
You get email for your own domain that works across your devices, with fast search to find any message in seconds. You can pin key messages, snooze bills and tickets, schedule sending, and add private memos for reminders or payment dates. You can protect your address with masked mail and aliases, block hidden trackers, and limit alerts to VIP senders. Your calendar tracks event changes, combines outside events in one view, and works offline with mail and contacts through native apps for every platform, with personal help online around the clock.
Open standards and shared code
The company spends time on open standards and industry cooperation, with work ranging from email authentication to calendar interoperability. Its people have contributed to an open sync protocol and to a wide range of publicly available code used by organizations around the world. This effort aims to keep email open rather than a walled garden. The service has been delivered for over 20 years, and its growth has come alongside that focus on open work.

Where is Fastmail data hosted?+
You can choose your primary data residency in the EU or USA when you set up mail. This choice helps you keep your messages, calendar events and contacts in your preferred region.
How does the calendar work?+
The calendar helps you plan quickly and shows what changed when someone updates an event. You can also view events from other calendars together in one place for a full schedule.
How does Fastmail protect privacy?+
Fastmail is built to protect privacy with no ads and no mining or sharing of personal data. It also blocks hidden trackers, offers masked addresses and aliases, and keeps your information secure and backed up.
How does help and offline access work?+
Support is available around the clock with personal help for setup questions and urgent issues like a lost phone. You can also read, draft, search and manage mail, calendar and contacts while offline.
