HOSTDZ review

Entry pricing on the shared range starts at DZD 491.67 for a 12 term. The plans above that figure set the ceiling for the range, so treat the entry price as the floor rather than a typical cost. Longer commitments should be checked plan by plan before settling on the cheapest tier.

HOSTDZ lists a money-back window of 30 days. On this measure it ranks 35 of 275 brands compared, so the window is a common offer rather than a rare one. It gives room to trial a plan, though plenty of other hosts list the same window.

The catalogue covers shared hosting, WordPress hosting and Windows hosting. That spread suits a reader who may outgrow a basic shared plan, since VPS, dedicated and cloud options sit alongside shared and WordPress hosting. Windows and Linux are both listed, so applications that need a specific server operating system can be matched to a plan.

Included extras come as free ssl, backups and cdn, covering security, backups, a CDN and email as part of the package. The CDN option widens the offer for sites with heavier traffic. Inclusions can differ between the Bronze, Sliver, Gold and Unlimited tiers, so read the plan page for the tier being bought.

Support runs on email, chat and phone. Email and live chat suit quick questions, the help center suits self-service lookups, and phone suits anything urgent. A community channel gives another place to search for answers outside support hours, which matters when a site is down.

A .com costs DZD 4,000 in the first year, and transfers are free at DZD 0. The extension list is short at 6 entries, so buyers chasing a specific country or niche extension will need another registrar. Bundling the domain with hosting keeps the renewal in one place.

The provider trades as HOSTDZ, is based in Algeria and has been operating since 2003. It is aimed at beginners, small business and enterprise, so both first-time site builders and larger organizations appear on that list. The mix of shared, WordPress and managed options matches that spread of reader.
