Hosty review

VPS plans start at an introductory price of ARS 4,900. That figure sits with the cloud VPS range rather than the shared plans, so shared hosting entry is quoted on its own. Readers comparing like for like should line the shared tiers up against their own traffic before deciding.

Hosty covers shared hosting, PYME shared hosting and reseller hosting. Shared hosting and PYME shared hosting suit small sites, reseller hosting serves clients, and VPS gives more control. Domain registration sits in the same account, so a site and its address can be handled together.

Plan limits scale by tier: 1 domain (Micro), 2 (Mediano), unlimited (Avanzado). The entry plan is the tightest fit for a single site, and higher tiers lift the cap for portfolios or client work. Anyone building a network of sites should budget for a plan further up the range.

Hosty offers a money-back window of 30 days. That sits at the typical 30 for this category, so the guarantee is standard rather than generous or thin. Renewal pricing is the part worth checking before you commit.

Support runs on chat, phone and help centre. Live chat suits quick questions and the phone line handles anything urgent, while the help centre covers the basics on your own. Keep your own record of any account issue so details survive a call.

The plan set lists backups and email, so backups and email are part of what you buy rather than add-ons. Shared, reseller and VPS tiers are all available, which lets a small site and a client-facing setup share one provider.

Hosty targets beginners and small business. That fits a first website and a small shop that wants hosting, email and a domain handled in one place, and it is a reasonable first stop before moving to a larger VPS. The company is based in Argentina.

Hosty publishes an uptime guarantee of 99.99% for its hosting plans. Treat that as the service level to hold the provider to rather than a measured result. Sites that cannot lose minutes should keep their own monitoring in place.
