Frequently asked questions
What does web hosting cost at the start?+
Web hosting starts at CZK 48 to CZK 57 over a term of 12 to 36, and the package list spans shared webhosting, WordPress hosting and VPS. The site median for entry pricing is €2.99, so this opening figure sits above the typical figure across the site. Prices are quoted in CZK.
What does the plan cost when it renews?+
Renewal is CZK 69, above the entry figure of CZK 48 to CZK 57, so the cheapest months sit in the first term. On renewal price ONEbit places 30 of 179 on the site, and the site median is €5.99. Budget for the higher figure from the start.
How long is the money back period?+
Plans carry a 60 money back period, well above the 30 typical across the site. That leaves room to try a plan on real traffic and still step away if it does not fit. ONEbit ranks 12 of 275 on that measure.
Which types of hosting are on offer?+
The catalogue runs from shared web hosting and WordPress hosting through VPS, managed VPS, managed e-shop VPS, dedicated servers, managed servers and application servers to cloud, listed under shared webhosting, WordPress hosting and VPS. Buyers who only need a small site can start at the shared end, while shops have a managed e-shop option.
Where are the servers located?+
Data centres sit in Czech Republic and Slovakia, and the company runs from a Czech headquarters listed as CZ. Buyers serving visitors in the Czech Republic or Slovakia sit closest to a server. Sites aimed at other continents will see a longer path to origin.
How can I reach support?+
Support runs on email, chat and phone, so email, chat, phone and a help centre are all listed for customers. Live channels suit urgent problems such as a site going down, while the help centre handles routine questions on plans, domains and billing. Buyers who want self service only should look elsewhere.
What comes with the plans, and how many domains can I run?+
Every plan includes the features listed under free ssl, backups and email: free SSL, backups and email. Domain count is capped per plan while subdomains are unlimited, so buyers juggling many separate sites should count them first. Uptime is promised at 99.9%.
Who runs ONEbit and who is it for?+
ONEbit is the hosting brand of Webglobe, s.r.o., registered in Czechia and running since 1999. The stated audience covers beginners, small business and enterprise, so the range runs from a first personal site to a larger operation. Buyers outside that range may find the plan list narrow.
