Pros and cons
Pros
- Entry pricing of NOK 6 sits well below the renewal figure, so a first period is cheap to try
- A 30 money back window matches what most hosts in this group offer
- Hosting spans shared hosting, VPS and enterprise hosting, so a site can move up without changing provider
- Data centres sit in Norway, which keeps Norwegian visitors on local infrastructure
Cons
- Renewal pricing of NOK 60 is far above the entry price of NOK 6, so budget for year two onward
- Included features are free ssl and email, so backups and a CDN are not among them

Scored 9.0 / 10 by ForgeCue.
Who it suits
- Small businesses based in Norway that want local data centres
- Beginners who want a simple first plan and a money back window
- Sites that may outgrow shared hosting and want a VPS path on the same account
Who should look elsewhere
- Shoppers drawn to Render, whose entry price is $0
- Buyers budgeting in another market, where Hosting.cl lists CLP 159,900
- Afrihost customers comparing entry costs, where its shared plan starts at ZAR 84
What it does well
PRO ISP covers the hosting ladder in shared hosting, VPS and enterprise hosting, so a small site can start on shared hosting and move to a VPS or enterprise hosting without a change of provider. The data centres sit in Norway, which is useful for Norwegian visitors who want short connections. Included features cover free ssl and email. Support is available on several channels, which matters when a site goes down at an awkward hour.
Plans and pricing
The introductory price is NOK 6 for the first 12, which puts PRO ISP in reach for a small business testing a new site. The renewal price is NOK 60, so the second period costs noticeably more than the first. Compare the entry figure against the renewal figure before signing up, and plan for the higher number in your budget from the second year onward.

Frequently asked questions
How much does PRO ISP cost to start?+
The introductory price is NOK 6, charged for the first 12. That is the figure to compare against other hosts when you shop. Prices are in Norwegian kroner, so check the rate before you commit.
What does hosting cost after the first period?+
The renewal price is NOK 60, which is higher than the entry figure. If you keep a site running for longer than a year, the renewal number is the one that matters to your budget. Many people test a site cheaply and then move up later.
How long is the money back period?+
PRO ISP offers 30 for a change of mind. That matches the typical window in this group, so it is not an unusual promise. It gives you room to decide whether the service fits before you are tied to it.
Which kinds of hosting are available?+
The range covers shared hosting, VPS and enterprise hosting. Beginners can start with shared hosting, while larger sites have a VPS or enterprise hosting option. Growing a site does not force you to look for a new provider.
Where are the servers located?+
The data centres are in Norway. Local infrastructure is a plus for visitors in Norway, since the connection distance stays short. Visitors further away will see less of that benefit.
What support can I reach?+
Support runs on email, chat and phone, so you can use email, chat, phone or the help centre. Having phone support is worth noting, since many low priced hosts give fewer ways to get hold of someone.
What comes included with a plan?+
The listed inclusions are free ssl and email, covering a certificate and email for a typical business site. That covers the essentials a first site needs. Plans span shared hosting, VPS and enterprise hosting if you later need more control.
Is WHOIS privacy included with a domain?+
Yes. Free WHOIS privacy comes as standard when you register a domain through PRO ISP. That means registrant details stay private as part of the domain setup. You can keep the domain and the hosting with the same provider.
