Pros and cons
Pros
- The plan list in shared web hosting, WordPress hosting and Magento hosting runs from shared hosting and ecommerce platforms through VPS, dedicated servers, storage and colocation.
- Free SSL, backups and email are included rather than sold as extras, per free ssl, backups and email.
- The money back period of 30 days matches the 30 median period in this category.
- Support runs on email, chat and phone, so phone and chat sit beside email and a help centre.
Cons
- The entry plan carries a small site allowance, while unlimited sites start one tier higher in the range.
- The listed data centre location is Brasov, Romania, so a site wanting a nearer region elsewhere has a single location to plan around.
Who it suits
- Small businesses and shops in Romania that want hosting, email and domains on one bill.
- Store owners running WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop or OpenCart sites, each of which has its own plan.
- Site owners who want a 30 day money back window before committing.
Who should look elsewhere
- Readers who want a free starting point: Render lists an entry price of $0, while Romarg's shared plans run €2.95 to €23.95.
- Buyers billing in rand rather than euro: Afrihost's shared hosting entry price is ZAR 84.
- Accounts billed in Chilean pesos: Hosting.cl lists an entry price of CLP 159,900.
How it compares on our data
On entry price, Romarg sits at 137 of 282 brands compared here, so it is not among the cheaper openings in this set. The money back period ranks better, at 35 of 275, and that guarantee is the stronger of the two headline numbers a reader will see.
The company behind it
Romarg trades as ROMARG SRL and lists its headquarters in Romania, with a founding date of 2001, so this is a long established Romanian operation rather than a new entrant. Support runs on email, chat and phone, giving phone and chat alongside email and a help centre for account questions.

Frequently asked questions
What does Romarg charge for web hosting at the start of a term?+
Entry fees for the shared web hosting plans run €2.95 to €23.95, and each plan page shows what sits with which plan name. Domain registration is priced separately, with a .com at €12.99 for the first year, so a hosting bill and a domain bill are separate lines.
How long is the money back period on Romarg hosting?+
Romarg offers a money back period of 30 days on its plans. That window matches the 30 median period listed across this category, so the length of the guarantee is not what separates Romarg from the hosts around it.
What is included with a Romarg web hosting plan?+
Free SSL, backups and email are listed in free ssl, backups and email, so certificates, site backups and mailboxes come with the plan rather than as paid add ons. A site owner still pays for the plan itself, which is priced at €2.95 to €23.95 across the shared range.
Which hosting types can I order from Romarg?+
The plan list, shared web hosting, WordPress hosting and Magento hosting, covers shared web hosting, dedicated plans for WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop and OpenCart, reseller hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, storage servers and colocation. Site allowances differ by plan, with a small allowance on the entry plan and unlimited sites from the tier above it.
Where is Romarg based, and where are its servers?+
Romarg is registered as ROMARG SRL and lists its headquarters in Romania. Its data centre sits in Brasov, Romania, so the company and the infrastructure share a single Romanian location rather than a spread of regions, which matters for latency to nearby visitors.
How do I reach Romarg support?+
Support runs on email, chat and phone, which covers phone and chat as well as email and a help centre. Phone and chat add to email rather than replacing it, so a quick question and a longer follow up both have a route to the same team.
How much is a .com domain at Romarg?+
A .com costs €12.99 in the first year. That sits close to the €11.61 typical first year cost across the site, so domain pricing here is ordinary rather than a standout bargain, and hosting can be added on the same account.
